Why you should have ginger water every day

Ginger originated in Asia and has been used for thousands of years as a spice and herbal medicine. The health benefits when this root is made into a tea are many. This ginger tea or water is an anti inflammatory and provides the body with all the benefits of ibuprofen without the side effects such as stomach irritation. It can provide pain relief to those suffering from arthritis or osteoporosis. This water also is packed with powerful antioxidants which can prevent cancer and impede its growth.

Here is how you make it:

Bring 5 cups of water to a boil and and 1/4 cup of sliced fresh ginger. Simmer for 5 minutes and let cool. When it is cool strain the mixture and add 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice and 1T of Organic Honey. Enjoy!
