Confessions of a Chef: I Can’t Live Without My Immersion Blender
An immersion blender is a great tool that more cooks should consider using. It is not only a time saver, but can handle jobs where you are cooking on a smaller scale.
I use my immersion blender when I am making marinades, sauces and pestos. I just put all my ingredients in a bowl and turn on the blender and I am done. This tool can be used simply when you are preparing fillings for recipes such as Lasagna. Soups are the best use of this culinary wonder. You put all your ingredients in a pot and after cooking them and adding stock…you just blend and Enjoy!
Cleaning is simple….unplug the blender and wash in warm water and dry and your ready for your next culinary adventure.
Williams Sonoma is selling an All Clad Version for $99….I just picked one up and it is solidly built and is a workhorse!
